How much does flower delivery cost in Singapore?

The short answer

In Singapore, flower delivery often costs S$9.90–S$25 when it is charged as a separate line item. But that number is only part of the story. Many florists advertise free standard delivery or complimentary delivery once your bouquet reaches a minimum order value. Some include delivery inside the bouquet price. Some charge a flat island-wide fee. Others add fees for fixed timings, express windows, restricted areas or redelivery.

At Bespoke Blooms, I keep the delivery model simple. Delivery is $18 anywhere in Singapore. Self-collection is free by appointment. The delivery or collection windows are 8am–12pm, 1pm–6pm and 6pm–9pm. Orders should be placed 2 days in advance. If timing is the main concern, read the ordering guide before you choose a date.

Free delivery is not always free in the same way

Free delivery is common in Singapore flower retail, but it does not mean every florist is giving away the same thing. Windflower Florist says standard delivery is free for website flower orders to most Singapore addresses. The Daily Blooms says it provides free same-day flower delivery islandwide. Floristique advertises free same-day flower delivery, while Flowers and Kisses lists free standard delivery for most island-wide orders.

That can still be a perfectly fair model. It just means you should compare the final bouquet, not the word free. A florist can recover delivery cost through the bouquet price, a minimum order, a narrower delivery window, a larger route batch or fewer timing choices. If one bouquet is $79 with free delivery and another is $62 plus $18 delivery, the delivered total is almost the same.

Thresholds and flat fees

Some florists make the delivery cost visible. The Bliss Assembly publishes complimentary delivery for orders above $50. Florita publishes standard delivery at 10 SGD per trip. Flower Chimp's help centre states that a standard delivery fee of $9.90 applies for islandwide delivery across Singapore.

Other florists publish paid delivery for regular or tighter windows. The Floral Atelier lists regular delivery at $15 per location and its FAQ lists standard daily deliveries at SGD20.00 per location. Flowers and Kisses lists free standard delivery for most island-wide orders, but charges $25 for specific-time delivery. These differences are why I prefer to look at the all-in cost. A $55 bouquet with $25 timing delivery is an $80 purchase. A $70 bouquet with free delivery is a $70 purchase. A $52.80 Bespoke Blooms Grasse with $18 delivery is $70.80 delivered.

Where customers get caught

The surprise is usually not the basic delivery fee. It is surcharge stacking. A bouquet may begin with free standard delivery, then add a fee because the customer wants a fixed time, an express slot or delivery to a restricted address. Windflower Florist publishes express one-hour slots from $25. Florita publishes specific-time delivery at 18 SGD. Flowers and Kisses publishes specific-time delivery at $25.

Restricted addresses are another common trap. Florita says it does not deliver to army camps, Sentosa, Changi Airport, Tuas, Jurong Island and Marina Bay Sands. Flowers and Kisses lists a $15 surcharge for Changi, Sentosa, Tuas and Marina Bay Sands, and says it is unable to deliver to Jurong Island. Flower Chimp states that delivery to hospitals can depend on each hospital's rules and protocols.

Specific timing costs more because it breaks the route

A broad delivery window lets a florist group addresses in a sensible route. A fixed hour does not. That is why the market often prices it separately. The Florte publishes standard delivery at $20, a one-hour specific-time option at $25, express delivery at $30 and an after-hours charge on top of the applicable fee. Prince Flower Shop publishes free same-day delivery, but charges $20 for special timing delivery and $35 for express delivery within the next 4 hours.

This is not only about distance. A driver may have to pause a route, wait at security, return to an area twice or deliver outside the usual batch. If your flowers are going to a home, a broad window is usually fine. If they are going to a restaurant booking, office farewell, ceremony or hotel checkout, the timing may be worth paying for. The important thing is to know whether that timing fee is already included before you compare florists.

Redelivery fees are avoidable

Fresh flowers are not a parcel that can wait all day in a hot corridor. If nobody can receive them, the florist has to decide whether to leave them somewhere, contact the sender, reroute the driver or bring them back. Flower Chimp's help centre says a redelivery fee is incurred when delivery details are incorrect and redelivery is needed. Windflower Florist says a requested redelivery costs $10. Florita and Flowers and Kisses both publish a $15 redelivery fee.

This is the easiest cost to avoid. For HDB or condo delivery, give the full block, unit, name and phone number. For condos, include the development name and tell the recipient or security if a delivery is expected. For offices, include the company name, tower, floor and reception instructions. If it is a surprise, choose a window when the person is likely to be there, not the prettiest time in your head.

Hospitals, hotels and offices need more detail

Hospital deliveries need care because wards, reception counters and patient rules can vary. Some florists state that hospital delivery may need special handling. Singapore Florist's get-well page advises that some hospital wards have restrictions and that customers should provide full patient details. For practical purposes, include the hospital name, ward, bed number, recipient name and mobile number, and check whether the ward accepts fresh flowers.

Hotels and offices have their own small problems. A hotel may not release a room number, and a restaurant may not want a bouquet arriving during service. An office reception may close earlier than the sender expects. For these addresses, the best delivery note is plain and useful: company or hotel name, recipient name, department or booking name, reception instructions and the phone number of someone who can actually answer.

What to put in the delivery note

A good delivery note is not long. It is precise. For a condo, give the development name, block, stack or tower, unit number, recipient name and phone number. If security requires registration, say so. For an office, give the company name, floor, reception desk and whether the bouquet should be left with reception or handed to the recipient. For a hotel, give the booking name and whether the flowers are for a guest, restaurant table or event desk.

This matters because redelivery charges in the market are real. Petals lists a $20 redelivery charge for every subsequent attempt. JM Flower lists an $18 redelivery fee when the recipient is unavailable or the delivery information is incorrect. Aboutflowers lists a $15 redelivery surcharge for unsuccessful delivery when the address, recipient details or availability are wrong. The cheapest delivery fee can stop being cheap if the first attempt fails.

How Bespoke Blooms handles delivery

My delivery fee is $18 anywhere in Singapore. I do not publish zone charges, CBD charges or a different fee for normal island-wide delivery. Self-collection is free by appointment, and the collection point is confirmed privately. There is no shopfront. The three windows offered at checkout are 8am–12pm, 1pm–6pm and 6pm–9pm.

This model is meant to be clear before you order. Choose the bouquet, choose the date, choose the window, then pay by PayNow after I confirm the order. I ask for 2 days because I design and wrap each arrangement myself, and because flowers should be bought and conditioned properly. The full bouquet range is available on the site. If the address is unusual, send it through before ordering.

A simple way to compare delivery

When you compare Singapore florists, write down four numbers: bouquet price, delivery fee, timing fee and restricted-address fee. Then write down the delivery window. A broad free-delivery slot may be fine for a home birthday. It may be wrong for a proposal dinner. A paid delivery window may be worth it when someone is leaving the office at 6pm or checking out of a hotel by noon.

Also check the lead time. Some Singapore florists advertise same-day delivery, often with cut-off times. That is a market option, but it is not how Bespoke Blooms is set up. My standard lead time is 2 days. If you need flowers sooner, you can message on WhatsApp and ask what is possible based on what I have, but the published order system is built around proper notice.
